It is the reception gathering that could be tossed by none different than Aamir Khan for the love birds Imran Khan and Avantika.
Aamir is personally looking after the arrangements for the party, which would be held at a five star hotel in Mumbai on February 5.
Besides looking after the arrangements for the occasion, Aamir is also ensuring that only select A- listers from the tinsel town are invited to the do.
We all know Mr Perfectionist's fondness for nephew Imran. According to a source, "He was busy with the promotions of Dhobi Ghat. Now that he is relatively free, he plans to hold a grand reception."
"Aamir had earlier decided to invite a huge crowd for the bash. But due to practical reasons, it has now been decided that only select friends of Aamir and Imran would be a part of it," adds the source.
Till now, the names of the invitees that popped up are: the Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, the Ambanis, the Birlas and Sachin Tendulkar.
Arrangements at the venue are said to be in full swing. A long list for the menu has also been decided. We hear Avantika is much more excited about the whole affair than Imran. They had got married on January 10.
